Menšík Architects is a traditional Brno-based architectural firm founded in 2023 by architect David Menšík (*1995) in Brno. It builds upon his extensive collective and independent practice, encompassing all scales of architecture, from interior design to single-family and apartment houses, urban projects, and development. David Menšík and his company gained his initial experience and significant realizations during his studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno. He further expanded his knowledge and expertise through through studies and collaboration with prominent Czech architectural figures.
The firm continues this legacy, offering clients an experienced yet flexible approach to projects of all types. We provide personal interactions with a compact team, ensuring a stable design identity and comprehensive project quality. From the very beginning, the firm has been in contact with talented young professionals and external experts, whose network is regularly utilized for long-term cooperation. We also maintain a stable roster of suppliers, construction companies, and craftsmen with whom we collaborate and can offer their services to clients. We gladly involve clients in the entire process, from the initial design to the final realization.
Our goal is to create contemporary architecture that draws from tradition and complements its surroundings. We stand for appropriateness, timelessness, durability, quality, materiality, and the dignity of our designs. We do not succumb to temporary solutions, passing trends, irresponsible gestures, or the import of architectural language without a deeper context.
